Raj did not believe in love? Simran wanted to fall in love? Raj had no care for the world?

Simran s marriage was already arranged? Their?s was a love story that wasn t meant to happen? But after Raj met Simran, love was never the same!

The magical spirit of the movie that really shot Shahrukh Khan and Kajol to the top as it rewrote history as one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood.

Brilliant music by Jatin Lalit, with songs like Tuje Dekha To, Ruk Ja O Dil Deewane, and Mere Khwabon Mein. For DDLJ, Shah Rukh Khan?s first major film in the romantic lead, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge had Manish Malhotra stepping in to give Shah Rukh that amazingly charming, suave, stylishly casual look and how his fans were bowled over?!

I have high regards for Hindustan Times. As a matter of fact its the only newspaper I love to read. Hindu is good in terms to editorials but I call it a boring newspaper because of so much to read in. Plus the design of the paper needs a serious rethinking. Times of India is more of gossip and only gossip! Perhaps its the soft Playboy of India. HT is more balanced in terms of content and entertainment. (It even offers free epaper subscription). But I would like to point out an ironic situation. Barkha Dutt in an editorial, in HT, has highlighted the depreciating state of affairs in news reporting.

It s more about what we regard as newsworthy. Sure, when two of India s biggest stars get married, it s a perfectly legitimate entertainment story. But does it deserve saturation coverage? Does it require reporters to stand by the wayside for hours on end, with real time updates on who is wearing what? Do we really need to spend reams of newsprint and hours of airtime on who held hands, who got drunk and who was the last to leave? There was something utterly pathetic about how a hundred cameras went scrambling for a nanosecond of footage each time the gates at Jalsa opened to let a car inside. Is this peek-a-boo voyeurism now the future of Indian journalism?

And below is the screen shot of HT homepage today.

Why can t they marry in peace!! They have life as a celebrity and they have every right over privacy. But sadly people seem more interested in their private lives. I can t blame the media entirely for this irresponsible reporting, they cater to the needs of the people and viewers love to get such news.
